From a young age, Terry had truck driving in his blood and drove for his Dad’s company Wray Smith Transport among other companies. He also had a special relationship with David and Nicole who unconditionally loved their Uncle Terry like a father. Terry was especially close to his eight-year-old youngest grandson who bears his name, Terrance Smith. Terry was truly appreciative of his sister-in-law Micheline and of Rachel’s two children David and Nicole for having volunteered to become living organ donors to save his life, however the Transplant Cancer Center in Edmonton determined that Terry was not a suitable candidate to undergo a lengthy transplant surgery.

Also left to mourn him are Gisèle’s brothers and sisters Sylvianne Revet, David Paulhus, Clarice Krienke, Lynne Savage, Olivier Paulhus (Joyce), Michael Paulhus (Tammy), Micheline Baker, Bruno Paulhus and Rachel Ling along with their families. Greatly saddened by his passing are his siblings Gloria Keats, Wayne (Lea), Jim (Brenda), Joe (Maureen) and their families. Likewise, he leaves behind Jennifer’s four children Paige, Jonathon and his daughter Everlee, Peyton and Terrance. He also leaves behind one daughter Terri-Lynn (Aaron) Snell and their four children Breanne (Shannon) and their daughter Rose, Jensen, Kaitlyn and Kristopher. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Gisèle. He was predeceased by his daughter Jennifer in May 2019 parents Wray and Myrtle Smith brother Allan and infant brother Ken as well as his parents-in-law Annette and Lionel Paulhus and Aimé Wilvers. Terry was born Septemand peacefully passed away with family by his side at the Grace Hospice in Regina on Thursday, Februafter a two-year battle with cancer.
